In order to continuously optimize the process quality of sock products and adapt to customers' purchasing standards for combed cotton socks and functional socks, our factory's technical department recently organized a special skill enhancement training for all staff. Technical backbones, process engineers, and plate making technicians gathered on site to conduct systematic learning and practical exercises around core modules such as raw material ratio, weaving process, and quality control testing, supporting the delivery of foreign trade orders with technical strength.
As the source factory deeply involved in sock manufacturing, we are well aware that material ratio and weaving accuracy directly determine the quality of finished products, and are also the core indicators that overseas buyers pay close attention to. The focus of this training is on the in-depth disassembly of mainstream material formulas for cotton socks, explaining the performance differences of fabrics under different ratios: from 80% combed cotton+17% nylon+3% spandex high-end business socks, to towel bottom sports cotton socks and thin invisible boat socks. The training instructor combines real production cases to compare the differences in moisture absorption, wear resistance, elastic rebound, and anti pilling performance of different fiber combinations, helping technicians accurately control the selection of raw materials and match the product needs of different overseas market customers.
In addition to material knowledge, the training covers key practical process points such as sock pattern, jacquard, digital printing, and dispensing. Explain the details of size control, needle number adjustment, sock head reinforcement, and sock mouth elasticity control during the weaving process for different categories such as mid tube socks and sports compression socks, and standardize the production process standards. At the same time, focusing on the quality inspection requirements of overseas customers, we will sort out the key points of finished product inspection, including fabric defect detection, shrinkage rate testing, elasticity durability verification, etc., strengthen the quality control awareness of the technical team, reduce defective products from the source, and ensure stable and compliant delivery orders.
The training adopts a combination of theoretical lectures and on-site practical discussions. In the practical stage, technicians exchanged ideas on common problems encountered in production such as fabric pilling, unstable elasticity, and printing fastness, and jointly explored optimization solutions based on past foreign trade order cases. Everyone shares practical experience with each other, discusses process adjustment ideas based on customized needs of different customers, and connects the technical chain from raw material sampling to mass production.
The head of the technical department stated that the overseas procurement market continues to demand higher quality socks, and continuous skill learning is the foundation for factories to maintain competitiveness. This training is not only a supplement to theoretical knowledge, but also a solid technical foundation for subsequent new product development, customer sample making, and mass production.
